To be frank, I am yet to review this ebook that exposes 100 ways to earn $100 per day. I stumbled on to it just a few minutes ago and thought I would blog about it here.


If I were to write a similar e-book, I would title it as, "$15 a day assured'. However, I can't write an e-book.

For less than $10, I think it won't dent anyone's wallet. There are people who make much more than $100 daily, but they all can't pass on their ways to you and me.

If I remember correctly, it was in 2003 when I was working as an online ad typist that I struggled to compile free classified sites. In fact, there was a rage in India for free classified sites among hundreds of home typists who earned good money by posting advertisements on free classifieds.

Slowly, the number of advertising sites increased but the online ad posting industry collapsed and I too crashed out and entered the world HYIP and made good money.

I know the online ad posting offers trickle in and there may many Indians who are working as work at home typists.

Acne is no scarier.

Is it true that women who sweat more are vulnerable to acne on chin or elsewhere on their face? Why I ask this is because this particular issue was discussed in an acne forum.

There wee only two answers; both were vague and did not address the question at all.

I don’t know why acne on chin bothered someone! Acne can appear on cheeks and on nose too. If they can be treated without scars, then, why can't they cure the pimples on chin? Surely, acne gel or cream is not biased about the location of the acne!

Alternative to Blog World Expo.

Like millions of bloggers from all over the world, I can't attend the Blog World Expo though I would love to meet some of virtual blogging pioneers like Pete Cashmere, John Chow, Yaro Starak and Gobalakrishnan.

I am thinking of organizing a meeting of bloggers in Chennai though it cannot be a real alternative to Blog World Expo, it will give a chance to meet the intelligent bloggers of Chennai and Banaglore.

I have many to things learn and some ideas to pass on. In fact, I want to start a bloggers club in Madras (Chennai) and I want it to be a monthly meeting affair.

I thought by changing the template of this blog will improve my AdSense income. The new blog design tool offered by the blogger platform provided many options to monetize the blog with AdSense ad formats.

I tried it in this blog which you can see. I also included an image in header though it is irrelevant to this blog's topic.

I have observed a slight improvement in my AdSense income since I implemented the changes. Not a big increase but still some improvement when compared to a few months before.

The most dreaded issue for all the webmasters-server down! It seems the servers of Bluehost.com have crashed taking all the sites with them.

I am not able to open any of my sites hosted with bluehost.com. I have some urgent update to be completed in one my blogs and I am worried a lot.

I have been with bluehost.com since three years and I never had any issue with them. Their customer service is top class. Surprisingly, this time, there is no answer to several cries of complaints in their forum which I read is located elsewhere fortunately.

Twitter is flooded with Bluehost down complaints. Just search using #bluehost and read our owes.

I pray Bluehost to resolve the issue soon. They are technically sound and capable of rectifying.

New ingredient in weight loss vitamins.

Is it all right to call a best weight loss supplement as weight loss vitamin? My husband who suddenly put on weight bought a jar of pills that read weight loss vitamin. Somehow, the word vitamin did not fit in for the purpose.

I looked at the ingredients. It contained vitamin E-10. Yes, I do not remember seeing it in other weight loss supplements. Vitamin E-10 is said to burn the calories much faster than other calorie burning substances.

Most of the farm fresh products contain vitamin E-10 but when the farm products are processed to meet the modern need, only vitamin E remains in them. What happened in-between?

The internet does not provide more details about vitamin E-10 as one the best ingredient in weight loss supplement. I foresee more focus on this rare chemical in the weight loss industry.

I have been associated with blogcatalog.com since 2006 and I must confess that I have not been an active participant in blogcatalog.com of late. I feel I should reciprocate my interest in others' blogs.

What will happen in November?

“Why you are so much obsessed with buying gold coins, you cannot carry a bag full of gold bullion even though they are portable asset”-ridiculed my husband.

So, you have read several blog posts that will teaches you how to write blog posts in 8 steps or 6 steps.

I beg to differ. I follow only 3 steps in my blog posts.

3. Conclusion

I think you are going to prove me wrong by going through some of my published blog posts and contradict me. Well, that would be welcome for my blog posts will be read again!

However, if you think for a minute, you will agree with my 3 step blog writing formula. Of course, the body might have subtitles, bullet points, links and quotations but still, they will be part of the body where I drive my point.

Generally, I don't write big blog posts; I try to keep my blog posts with 200 words or less.

Don't write articles!

If you linger too much in the blogosphere, you will soon find yourself hating the word, 'article marketing'. I know it gave me that feeling when I came across at last 15 times a day in the internet marketing related forums, blogs and social media discussions.

Those who scream at you to try article marketing to increase backlinks and targeted visitors don't ever teach you how to articles because most of them just rewrite existing articles and use automatic article submission software to propagate their junk in 100 or so article directories where they get buried quickly that even search engines are afraid to enter.

So what is the point of advising you to write articles? Why they are shouting at the top of their voice that article marketing is the order of the day?

It is just to show they too joined the bandwagon and they have claimed naturally a right to brag.

After 5 years of blogging and after 6500 posts, let me tell you one thing:
Blogs are more avidly read than articles. Every article directory is visited only by those who want to rewrite them. Information seekers treat article directories as junk with the exception of a few sites.

Blogs posts that are less than 250 words serve the purpose. They are frequented by human beings.

I liked the idea of promoting the kids rain boots with real children wearing them and dancing in the rain.

Trackbacks-where have they gone?

Do you remember how bloggers were urged to use trackbacks a few years ago? Every famous blogger, every SEO professional took time to emphasize the utility of the trackbacks in blogosphere.

Bloggers made use of the trackbacks to know who links back to their blog posts and genuinely reciprocated by linking back to other bloggers. This resulted in targeted traffic to the bloggers.

Of late, I find bloggers are becoming selfish and not reciprocating inbound links. Either they are too busy or simply not bothered about who mentions their blog posts in their blogs.

I have been linking to all the blog posts that I mention in this blog but I don't see any improvements in my blog's inbound links.
