The act of focusing made easy.

With my mouth agape, I listened with intent gaze as my neighbor recounted his days in the forests. Being a forest officer, he talked passionately about the surprises of jungles, animal sounds, bushnell rifle scopes, the art of focusing and modern day hunting and surveillance devises that have made the act focusing easy and so on.

Forests excite me anytime. I am an avid watcher of Animal Planet TV channel. I have always amazed at how the photographers manage to capture every minute movement of birds and reptiles in the darkness of jungles.

Now, listening to my neighbor, I shot him several questions on various optical products that a forester use, protective gears from insect bites. He answered patiently as though he was interviewed by BBC reporters.

One depression led to another.

A depression is a depression; why give so many names to it such as obsessive-compulsive disorder. I think this name itself will create more depression to the affected person.

Well, this is not my subject right now. Moms of children born with various handicaps.

I have received a request to create a Squidoo lens on parenting issues faced by parents of children born with various handicaps. It is a new topic to me. Before accepting the assignment, I did a search for the topic in Squidoo mainly to glance through other lenses created on the niche.

Squidoo drew a blank and prodded me to create the first lens on "parenting issues faced by parents of children born with various handicaps".

I have started gathering relevant materials and also am thinking of interviewing a few moms and dads who are unfortunate to deal with this challange.

I am quite comfortable with creating a Squidoo lens but I need fresh ideas.

Any help guys?

The Google +button was launched two days before. There are widespread blog posts in the blogosphere explaining how to insert the Google +button in your website and blog.

Google +button is an innovative concept which will decide the ranking of websites in search engine search results. I wonder whether Google will still consider the backlinks factor in deciding the search engine results ranking.

In several micro jobs portals, campaigns for voting (adding the plus) on the Google plus button have already started rolling. It is a paid task that might defeat the purpose of Google +.
