There may have been several algorithm updates from Goggle named after Penguin and Panda.
Webmasters and bloggers might have changed their link building and traffic generation strategies in accordance with such updates.

In spite of that, there is one internet marketing strategy that has not changed. It is commenting on blogs of similar niche. The IM community firmly believes that traffic from comments and reviews are 100% targetted. I too follow the crowd.

This segment of increasing blog visitors would stay though it may not add to your backlinks because of changes in search engines' workings. I foresee some reversals in acknowledging these genuine backlinks by the search engines. Once that happens, bloggers would realise the importance of leaving comments on blog posts that are approved by the blog authors.

Of course, blogs that have removed the default 'no follow' attributes can only pass on the benefits of links left on them. These 'do follow' blogs are great resources for bloggers.

A blogger named Darla, has created a Squidoo Lens on 'Do Follow'. Newbies who are willing to learn the importance of 'Do Follow' while building one way backlinks should visit the lens.

Darla has compiled a huge list of do follow sites that include:

* 4 Social networking sites
* 42 articles sites
* 29 social bookmarking sites
* 11 social portal sites in the likes of Hub pages

The lens links to useful articles about Google pagerank, Google's way of looking at inbound links and how the major 4 search engines treat 'no follow' attribute.

I wonder why people make these sorts of comments! Who will approve these rubbish texts and images? I think these are people who take money to comment. It is a pity that people waste their money by outsourcing pathetic blog commentators.





Can anyone tell me what these numbered blogs mean? How in the first place people place them in their profile while commenting? Are they supposed to be Chinese?

How to get do follow links from Google?

So you think you cannot get backlinks from Google that pass on link juice? You are mistaken if you think so. You can get juicy one way back links from Google itself that 'Do Follow' your links. I suppose you already have Google account-Gmail, AdSense or Adwords? Here is what you do.

Setup a public profile by going to:

http://www.google.com/profiles/

You will see a provision to 'Edit your profile'.

Click on that and fill up first your personal details.

Then scroll down where you will find a provision to add your links to your blogs and websites.

All the links you add here are DoFollow!
