The courage of Regency Beauty graduates.

Have you ever noticed? Beauty parlors these days promote apparels too of popular brands apart from best of makeup items. Yes, I mean it. I think this trend is originally started by Regency Beauty Institute, the most sought after cosmetology school in the U.S. As on date, Regency Beauty has 80 campuses spread over 19 states in U.S.

Regency Beauty salons inside their campuses sell their own brand of apparels and accessories named Regency Wear. The range includes men’s and ladies apparels, travel bags (they look very good), caps and tools required for every beauty parlor such as hair dryer, spray jars and hair straightening flat irons.

Those who have setup their own spas and salons are mostly graduates of Regency Beauty. I wonder whether the curriculum includes salon management too. It is easy to work as a beautician in any hotels or airlines but owning and maintaining one’s own beauty parlor requires more courage than currency.

What do you say?

How to setup your own Beauty Parlour.

Another question that came to my mind when I happened to read the news of continued expansion of Regency Beauty Institute was, would a student of Nashville beauty school get training on setting up a beauty parlour of her own apart from the usual beautifying skills?

It is encouraging to that the students of Regency Beauty School are given more practical training in the beauty salons inside the campus. They carry out real life beauty treatments to the customers of the in-campus beauty salons at discounted rates. This would expose the students to the accessories and makeup items of a beauty parlour.

If the Regency Beauty institute management takes the students to various makeup rooms of celebrities and beauty parlours located in hotels and ships, students would be inspired to start their own business when they graduate.

I believe Hayes Batson, Regency’s president and CEO is capable of motivating her students to launch their own beauty business.

Regency Beauty Institute opens admissions.

How can you motivate person to take care of her looks who argues likes this:” if swimming is so good for your figure, how do you explain whales?”

The irony is, it is the same girl who went on to become a successful beautician after graduating from Cosmetology school in Missouri. (But that didn’t deter to resize her waist).

She was one of the STARS in Regency Beauty Institute and that fetched a free, all paid trip to attend the most advertised America’s Beauty Show. It is where, the trainee beauticians of Regency Beauty Institute are exposed to the glittering world of professional beauticians and learn the latest trends in beautification and cosmetic products.

Regency Beauty Institute started modestly 50 years ago in Minnesota. Now, they have grown fairly well and have set up 30 campuses in nine states in the U.S.
