Don't build profile links.

Backlink building using links supplied by big profile link sellers are not advised by veteran Internet marketers because Google's Panda changes consider inbound links coming from totally unrelated sites as SPAM.

I am yet to check the veracity of this though I sense it is true. Why sites that have no connection with our site should link to us? This is a kind of artificial link boosting and should not find favor with search engines.

However, I wonder how Google is going to crack this practice through their algorithm!

Therefore, in order to survive the Panda changes, bloggers need to build backlinks carefully keeping in mind the relevancy of sites where they drop link back to their blogs. Only quality links matter in SEO.

Permalink structure-how it should be?

I was reading the post titled, "HOW TO: Write SEO Rich Posts For Your Blog" It was very insightful. I kept clicking on links contained in the blog post that led to other blog posts in the same blog. This is just clear proof how internal linking is important to retain a visitor in your blog for a long time.

I thought I have clear ideas about how permalink to blog posts should be and I implement them in my wordpress blogs. I was directed to view a video clip in which Matt Cutts of Google is answering a question on this important SEO aspect.

Watch the video below.

Want to earn money as a SEO worker?

I have no big success stories to back me up but still, I am confident that I can deliver. I am starting a keyword academy soon. I intend to train people on various aspects of keyword research.

This will be my content:
Keyword research and analysis
Long tail keyword
Latent Semantic Indexing (LSI)
Niche finding
Developing keyword rich websites with unique content
Using PLR to churn out niche websites

I will not be using any professional software for my keyword analysis and niche finding.

I have learnt a few techniques that are known only to a handful of internet marketers.

Initially, I am offering my personal training course only to the residents of Madras. Keep checking for updates at http://blogging-academy.blogspot.com

How Google's +1 button is going to help bloggers.

This is not yet launched but soon it will be.

Where will you see this +1 button?
You will see this in the search results page. Beside every search result, you will see this button.

Similar to the "I like it" button in the Facebook, this button will inform us who many people liked a particular web page on search results page.

I hope you realize the importance and value of this users' vote on our web sites and blogs. I am sure this metric will carry more weight than the Google Pagerank.

I forsee creative articles and tutorials from passionate search engine marketing professionals on how to get more '+' for our web pages. Yes, we have a chance to get lots of '+' for inner pages too.

There is no doubt in my mind that original and high quality content will get votes fro human beings which are more true than Google's search engine based votes leading to its own page rank.

I feel this is a master stroke of Google to refrain the article based sites to get high rank the in the search engines. Novices may not know but veterans know that there are more rewritten articles in the articles sites than written by a qualified and original writer whose content is constantly molested by every article writer.

I am eagerly awaiting to see the '+' button that would direct me to top class information in the Internet.

Automatic keyword suggesting tool.

I think I have a spotted winner SEO plugin in keyword assistance.
http://goo.gl/br3X

I am excited at this revolutionary tool which is expected to explode the internet marketing world on 20th October. All the big guns in IM have already blogged about Keyword Winner and promoting vigorously.

I thought I could also grab some of their market share by writing here about the cannot-afford-to-ignore wordpress plug in.

What it does?
It suggests low competition keyword for your blog posts title. You start composing your blog post in your blogging platform. Don't yet write the title.

As you keep writing the body of your blog post, this Keyword Winner plugin will spit out relevant keywords to be used in your blog post title that have low competition in the search engine.

Wow! Cool tool-eh?
