Increase your FaceBook, Pinterest, Instagram and email followers free.

We bloggers try various blog promotional avenues sincerely and to some extent, we experience a little success in every attempt. Blogs getting more readers via Facebook and Pinterest and vice versa are all known to us.

I came to know about a free tool to increase our Facebook and Pinterest followers using our blog. It seems a simple work and no time investment is needed once you set it up in your WP/blogger based blog.

The tool is called Milo Tree and is free.

How it works?
It is a pop up (non-invasive of course) type that shows your FB and Pinterest profile at the bottom  right corner of your blog.

See the sample images below:

I read several positive reviews about this "social media followers increasing tool".

Free Facebook share, G+, Pinterest repins, twitter follow.

Relentless activity is going in the world of web to meet the frequent changes in Google’s indexing algorithms. No sooner than we modify our internet marketing strategy as per Google’s Panda and Penguin updates, we face with ‘Humming bird’ update.

Though the latest change in indexing strategies do not warrant any big reaction or changes from us bloggers and webmasters, we are kept on tenterhooks by the big boss Google. As soon as an update is announced, we go berserk. We hop between all the blogs dealing with search engine related news, trying to find a verdict by majority of the authors and we take steps to implement the suggestions.

What I have gathered so far is, the veterans in digital marketing world don’t foresee any big change in the importance of getting strong social signals. This means we must ensure that more and more people from diverse fields should ‘like, share, follow and retweet’ our digital foot prints.

We should aim to get:
1.     Facebook wall post likes
2.    Facebook wall post shares
3.    Facebook fan page likes
4.    Facebook followers and friends
5.    Google +, post shares
6.    Pinterest followers and ‘likes and repins’ of our pinterest pins.
7.    People to follow our Linkedin posts, ask questions or comment on our Linkedin posts
8.    Twitter followers, retweets of our tweets
9.    More followers for Bloglovin profiles, ‘likes’ and ‘shares’ for our bloglovin feeds
10. Instagram ‘likes’ and ‘followers’

These actions sound easy but require plenty of effort to get people engage in our social networking activities. There are micro job sites where you can see people selling these services for money. It is not advisable to pursue that strategy for getting social signals for obvious reasons.

I recently came to know of a Facebook group dedicated to get free social signals. The group is called Bloggers Social Platform (BSP), a free to join group. It comprises of about 130+ members as of now.

New blog promotion methods.

Are you still promoting your blogs in the same old fashioned ways like blog directory submissions and RSS feed submissions? They have become obsolete!

Social media marketing is the only way method by which you can expect search engine rankings. Promoting individual blog posts in Twitter and Facebook are not even enough.

Your tweets should get retweeted;
Your Facebook wall postings should be 'liked'.

You should be a strong presence in Pinterest.

Google plus streams cannot be ignored.

Linkedin profile and participation in Linkedin groups would emit good social media signals.

Blog commenting still plays a major role in search engine rankings.

Go with the present internet marketing trend to stay afloat.

Buy and sell Google + related services.

Increase Google +  circles

Yesterday I stumbled onto a site which is similar to Fiverr. In this freelancer marketplace, one can buy Google +.

PlusGigs is a marketplace where users of Google+ can exchange serivces that they offer and where buyers can obtain such services.

I think I have not explained it clearly.

Here is a screenshot of various gigs in http://www.plusgigs.com/

There is a mad rush already for getting big social media marketing. Google + is the leader in the pack. Webmasters and bloggers are falling head over heals to please their might master Google. They are hell bent on increasing their G+ circles.

It is shrewd on the part of plusgigs.com to start G+ services marketing.
Interesting concept. I think there are more sellers of G+ related services than buyers.

I wonder how long it will last!

Why Local SEO is important?

Local Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is the only way to flourish for local businesses in any place in the world. Los Angeles is no exception.

Getting your business in the web is absolutely essential and it is all the more important to get found in Google local. I am seeing so many excellent services being offered in Madras but only a few of them have online presence. I am sure the others are losing business.

Those who are wise to advertise their services or products through web site and further optimize it in local search engines have clearly ahead of their competitors. Online reach is very critical for all sizes of business.

Organic SEO
Websites that are introduced to you because you used major search engines like Google or Yahoo! are said to contain organic traffic. The tweaking of your web site as per search and indexing parameters of search engines is called Organic SEO.

Example:
Here is an that appeared in “Times of India” on June 8th under “Chennai Times”. The discount beauty package is really attractive. It would have made people stand in queue had the Sayana beauty parlor and spa had a mini website or blog to enable people to contact them.

Alternatively, had Sayana beauty parlor created Google plus page and optimized in Google maps, their online presence would get them noticed by all the residents of Chennai.

If you want to find a beauty parlour in your neighborhood Shenoy Nagar, you would either do a Google or call Just Dial. Hard copy Yellow Pages have become obsolete because it takes considerable time in finding what you want. We all want immediate results and that is why services like just Dial are highly preferred.

Another example:
A friend of mine is teaching advanced accountancy to professional finance executives and M.Com students. He is doing part time teaching only. If only he had a social profile in G+ and optimized it locally, he can quit his regular job

Geo-Targeting (City/State)
Since you are searching for a service in a specific local area, you should ensure that your found in local search engines. This is called GEO targeting and also called local SEO.

Local SEO (location-based search engine optimization) is a highly targeted form of optimization. By inputting the correct information of where your business is located, your website and services will appear in search results conducted by people who are in proximity to you.

Google Places Maps Optimization
Recently Google wrung several changes in its local maps and merged the feature in Google plus pages. As a business owner, you should create a Google + page and activate Google local under ‘More’ tab.

Fill out the details, mark your location and Google maps, insert a few relevant images and you are done.

Now, it is time to promote your Google local listing in the Internet through social bookmarking sites, by leaving your link in blog comments and so on.
Your name will pop up in searches as well as Google Places. Google Places uses Google Maps to show people where your business is located and even give clear direction to people at a click of a button.

By having accurate and up-to-date information, you can optimize not only who is finding you, but how often, as well.
