Bloggers needed as influencers and brand ambassadors.

After a long time, I am happy to blog about an opportunity for bloggers who want to earn money by blogging.

The blogs have replaced many a media as the best mode to advertise. About 11 years ago when I started getting paid to blog, little-known brands only were active sponsors but the scenario has changed completely. Now, world’s leading brands are hiring bloggers to act as influencers or brand ambassadors for their products.

Since they cannot filter bloggers on their won from a billion blogs, they tie up with a blog marketing company with whom bloggers have registered their blogs and the blogs’ metrics are measured and stored in their database which is exposed to the advertisers who can now easily choose a blog that meets their expectation.

Blog Meets Brands is one such middle man (why not a middle woman?) that acts as an ideal platform for advertisers and bloggers to meet for mutual benefit.

How Does Blog Meets Brand Benefit Bloggers?
Well, as with any other blog marketing company, Blog Meets Brand allows bloggers with access to paid blogging opportunities.

Blog Meets Brand is free for bloggers. Obviously, advertisers have to pay to browse through the blogs that are listed with the company.

Influencer campaigns are also known as blogging assignments are posted by the advertisers. As such every campaign is different. A blogger is selected based on a number of different metrics. When your blog is assigned a campaign, Blog Meets Brand will send you an email alert informing you of the assignment. If you are not interested in a campaign invitation, just hit the decline button.

Payment.
The payment is paid through PayPal but the only glitch that I personally would avoid is the 45 days period. Blog Meets Brands will release the payment only after 45 days of the end date of the campaign. I think it is not fair. When a blog post is approved, the payment should be released provided the advertiser has paid the full campaign budget to the middle man.

Monetize your blog now with an image ad network.

Would you believe that sometime in 2013, I drafted this blog post? However, I never usually dig out the drafts to give it a finishing touch before publishing. As a typical Gemini, I quickly lose interest that some news or views kindled in me fiercely a day or two before.

I was cleaning the space for Google 15 minutes before by deleting all the drafts in my blogger dashboard when a headline, "Image ad network" stared at me from the draft posts.

I quickly looked into it and saw neatly written brief reviews of three paying image ad networks for bloggers. Out of the three, two had closed shop and the last one in my draft review 'gumgum.com' is found to be alive.

The image below belongs to them and I loved the top quality of the image.

Here is one more image that I saw in their blog located at http://gumgum.com/blog.  A stunning image.

Well, now, how can a blogger can earn money by joining a "image ad network"?
Forgive me, I could only deduce that publishers are paid by cost per impressions (CPM) basis through monetizing  images on their blogs.

You are given a choice of three types of ads namely:
1. Im image ads
2. In screen ads
3. Native ads

Apart from this, there is no clear information or a FAQ page to throw more light. though there is a guide to publishers' monetization guide that bloggers can download and read before applying. (http://insights.gumgum.com/guides-publisher-emerging-forms-advertising)

A few facts published in their 'about' page.
* 400 million visitors
*  2,000 premium publishers
* 81% viewability rate
* Their clients include Disney, L’Oreal and Toyota.
* GumGum is headquartered in Santa Monica, California, with six additional offices in the US and in the UK.
* Founded in 2007

If interested in monetizing your blog with this image ad network, please try it out now.

How to compose product reviews and earn money?

Writing a product review is a great way to not only to earn money as a problogger; it also gets  targeted traffic to your blog. Oh, I know you may rebel the idea of writing and publishing product reviews for money but how about this? Treat it as a chance for you to distinguish yourself as someone who truly cares about giving an unbiased review about the products.

However, if you wish turn into professional review writer or movie and book critic through your personal blog (example:http://www.respoviews.com),  there are some tips you should consider to implement.

The prime rule that you need to remember while writing a product review is not to sell or push it; instead of going for an aggressive tactic simply stick to giving descriptions and opinions based on what you have experienced with the product.

Hope you got it.

Secondly, you must keep your target audience in mind and change your writing style according to that: for example, if you are selling some type of high-end medical device to doctors, you will want to keep the review very factual and straight to the point. Do net get cornered.

Third of all, while it does seem tempting, you should refrain from pointing out that your product is clearly better than all the competition because: first of all it simply sounds like a phony and cheesy cliché, and second of all you will actually
give your competition some recognition and your potential clients may be tempted to check it out.

When writing a product review on your blog, people are mostly going to read it to find out whether your experience with the product was conclusive, so don’t spend time being vague and making meaningless statements; give your customers what they are asking for.

Lastly, remember to finish every product review with a gentle call to action that would invite your prospective customers to either learn more about the product, or directly buy it; otherwise, the people reading your content will simply be likely to go back to their search engine of choice and look for the product elsewhere..

How to become a master blogger quickly?

Do you want to earn money online by maintaining blogs but feel disadvantaged because you are not technically equipped? No worry. To earn as a writer or a blogger, you certainly need not know any technical knowledge but only possess a passion for writing and of course a hunger for money.

Let me tell you one thing; If you are not in need of money, you attempts to earn online will be half hearted and you will end up earning nothing and would also blame the online money world. You would shout loudly, “SCAM”.

No it is not so.  I have been earning as a blogger since 2005. That’s 11 years of experience speaking the truth.

If you have a flair for writing in good English, you've got an unfair advantage over other bloggers.

However, you might be wondering what are all the ways to earn money from your blog-right? You may also want an initial guide to take you through the basics of blogging. You would be happy if you could lay your hands on a comprehensive tutorial on launching your online freelance blogging career.

Want to earn $50 to $100 per guest post?

Only yesterday I was talking to my friend Nirmala Santhakumar, the author of http://mymagicfundas.com about the demand that I noticed for blog posts and articles by feelancers.

Now, just a few minutes ago, I stumbled onto a resource that pay $50 to $100 per guest blog post. Since that pay is very big, obviously, very standard is expected from freelance bloggers.

The topics on which the demand for articles are:
 Market reports
SCAM reports
Blogging
and many more

Now, I am going to do a little experiment.  Before revealing the source for earning $50 to $100 per blog post,  I want to find out how many people read this blog post.

If you want to know who pays that much per bog post, please comment on this blog post with your name and email; I will email you the source URL. I promise not to store your email. You will never hear from me after you receive my email only once.

Deal?

How To Start Blogging For Bucks ?

Like me, there are literally millions of bloggers who make decent money by blogging. Some earn even thousands dollars per month from their blogs. These are not casual bloggers who only want to see their words and their name online or who just want to put forth a point-of-view, these are serious professional bloggers who have made blogging into a full-time business.

Here are some of the ways to make money from your.
1.     Advertising!
The easiest way to earn money by blogging is to place small banners or text links on your blog and you are paid on a monthly basis. It may be just #5 per ad or even up to $50 !
2.    Affiliate Income.
       Online companies have been offering a steady way of earning money for bloggers. In this method, you as an affiliate (a sales ahent) promote products or services of a company and if a sale is generated, you are paid a percentage of the sale value up to 75% of the sale price. That’s big money!
 Another version of the affiliate program is the “mini-mall” concept offered by companies such as Amazon store . The mini-mall works (like the affiliate program), through a link on your blog that takes your reader to a page with a variety of merchandise -- all sales earn you a commission.
3.    Sponsored blog posts
This is one my favorite methods to earn money as a problogger. If you have a blog that is dedicated to a particular topic, e.g., men’s shirts that is published on a regular basis, that has a good readership and is recognized as an authoritative source for men’s shirts and trousers etc, your blog may draw the interest of a corporate sponsor and you may be approached to run their advertisements for new products on a long-term basis. If and when you reach that point you know you've made it to the big time, professional blogger's league.

The methods mentioned above are just a few of the very many ways you can start making money from your blog . . . but there is a catch!

As you probably noticed every scheme mentioned and every other money-making blogging scheme you'll find requires a great blog . . . a blog that draws hundreds of readers (as a minimum) on a regular basis. To reach this stage of readership you need a blog that offers the reader some type of unique, quality content.

If blogging is to be a money making business for you, you'll need to treat it like a business by dedicating your time, energy and creativity to its success. Also, like any successful business, you need a product or service that is a 'customer magnet.' Your “product” is your content: it could be news or information or entertainment but whatever it is, it must be unique and interesting.

Money by blogging-the number one factor to consider.

Please read on if you believe that people are earning money blogging without any hardcore selling. It is alright if you have not seen any money from your blog but please know this one important factor while considering problogging if you have not done so already.

The vital factor to see some real money by blogging:
It is advisable to choose a niche for your blog (the overall one topic) instead of starting a multi niche blog if you want to earn a decent sum from your blog.

Why a single niche?
* You will attract relevant ads when you monetize your blog with contextual and CPA ads.
* The banner advertisers will only select single niche blog because they want only target audience to see their banners for possible click through.
* Sponsored posts will be offered only for niche blogs these days.

Above all, there is no point in starting a free blog to earn money. Problogging through free blog is almost dead.

Money Making Wedding Blog.

Sometime before, one of my friends was working for a reputed online wedding business directory. She urged me to take a glance at it.  By the time I exited from the website, it was not a glance but a thorough browsing because there was so much information about wedding needs and planning. It was simply mind boggling.

There were more than 40 categories of business related to wedding and under every category, hundreds of advertisers have hopefully placed their attractive banners and text links. The first thought that came to my mind was the wedding business online directory must be making plenty of money.

My blogging mind immediately thought of launching a wedding blog to grab my share of business. Being a problogger since 2006, I have the experience of turning it into a money making machine.  I have more than 1500 wedding related PLR articles that I can convert them into unique.

Though, I don’t pin big hopes on Google AdSense to earn by contextual advertising, I am sure, the blog can attract advertisers in the wedding industry. However, I quickly gave up the urge because it will be too much of a work load.

Wedding niche is an ever green one with year around activities. It is a recession proof niche and unbound by season.

Here are some of the categories of advertisers for a wedding blog:
·         Marriage Halls
·         Caterers
·         Event planners
·         Wedding contractors
·         Wedding entertainment providers
·         Wedding dresses and jewels
·         Florists
·         Wedding hall decorators
·         Wedding cards
·         Bridal makeup
·         Photographers and videographers
·         Bride and groom verification service providers

There are so many sub-categories under the above mentioned categories. With such a bank of information, there is so much to write content for a wedding blog that it can be anyone’s full time income.

If by chance you are lured into starting a wedding blog, I can give you a readymade wedding blog with premium theme and plugins for an affordable price. I can even help you to upload it on your server free of charge.

Learning to Make Money Blogging?

If you are just starting out to make money online by starting a blog, then, you must first know the two major ways that people generate revenue out of their blogs.

 The first and most common way to turn a blog into a profit making website is to sell advertising  space to different  companies.

The second kind of money making blog is one where you sell your own products or services or sell others products and services. While both would fetch you good money, selling your own products would give you immense satisfaction.

If you are blogging with the goal of selling advertising space, there are again two basic ways that you can go about it.  Reaching out to companies on your own or you can let someone else do all of the legwork for you.
Within the first group, many people make money blogging by selling space through Google's AdSense program. The advantages of this program are numerous, as it requires very little effort on the part of the blogger or webmaster to begin raking in profits. However, most people discover that they make less money through this method than they had hoped that their blog would earn.  It is invariably disappointing.

Of course, it is not the end of the road. Though selling advertising directly to companies who want to put their banners or text red links on your blog can take quite a bit of time, it is often fairly lucrative.

People who have a strong background in sales and are experienced at pitching proposals can make quite a bit of money by renting blog space to interested companies.

To be successful in this method, you must show quite a large number visitors to your blog. This won’t happen overnight buddy.

Read this before publishing a blog post.

When I published a blog post on reasons for people to abandon their blogs, I expected one blogger that I know would call me. He called in less than an hour the blog post was live!

He is from from Bombay emailed me and asked for my suggestions for his blog to improve his AdSense earnings. He approached the wrong person and also indicated that he did not read my blog post fully.

I still went ahead to read his blog. It was full of the so called reviews (?) of mobile phones, slimmest phones, android phones, smart phones and what not. You read them everywhere these days, that too from India bloggers. I really do not understand why people write about latest hi-tech gadgets and hope it can make them rich through clicks on advertisements.

Why people abandon their blogs?

I read several posts in Facebook from highly experienced bloggers that indicate their loss of interest in blogging because the money is drying out. They pin great hopes on revenue from AdSense without  really understanding 'how adsense works'.

If people start blogging mainly to earn money, they would quickly come to such mental status and abandon their blogs. On the other hand, if people start blogging just for the sake of sharing their interest, likes, dislikes, knowledge and experience, they never abandon their blogs and enjoy the small money that come in their way.

Without truly understanding how the advertisers place their ads with Google, bloggers look for money through AdSense. Bloggers should put their advertisers shoes and work accordingly to hope clicks on adwords.

Facebook ads, Fiverr and medias similar to such marketplaces have definitely eroded potential of Google advertisers to attract the targeted visitors. I would say the advertisers have woken up and are saving their hard earned money after realizing the 'not-so-healthy' practices of AdSense publishers.

I would stay away from big claimers of AdSense advocates and Adsense consultants who promise quick riches from AdSense.

I admit; their is money to be made through AdSense but so much as bloggers have earned 3 years before. Bloggers can still earn big money by blogging without totally depending on the revenue from AdSense.

Monetize your blog with 7 types of ads.

When monetizing your blog, don't confine it with just Google adsense; there are other options for bloggers and all of them offer free.

While the bloggers from the U.S. are well aware of various types of ads that a blogger can place in his blog, majority of the Indian bloggers are not aware of such options. The income from adsense purely depends on clicks made on the ads placed. How about no such condition but can still fetch you money?

I hope I have kindled your interest.

Google Adsense is not for all; especially Indian bloggers would agree with me-right? I have compiled a big blog titled, "7 Types of ads on your blog to earn money'".

Please read it and if you like it, please share it with your social circles.

3 proven ways to pull big money by blogging.

In this blog post, I will outline 3 proven methods to make bigger money by blogging. This is from my experience and there are bound to be differences of opinion. I have the decency to allow others to differ from me.

Ok, here I go. The following methods apply only to those who have their self hosted wordpress blogs and they show low numbers in Alexa and high numbers in Google PR and Klout score.

1.       Writing Product Reviews

It is a known fact product manufacturers and dealers would approach a blog on a relevant topic and ask the blog authors to write about their product on their blog for money. The amount offered is based on the above said ranking metrics. I don’t know what the highest paid amount per blog post is but I received once $100 per blog post.

2.       Selling info products
Guide for infopreneurs

This falls under affiliate marketing and sometimes it pays better than the ‘writing product review’ method. Since the rate of commission can be up to 75% of the sale price of the product, even if you make one sale a month, you would be happy with your efforts. Seriously think of becoming an infopreneur now!

3.       Placing ads on your blog
I am not speaking about any PPC ads like Google adsense which is not a remunerative way to earn money by blogging. There are hundreds of text and banner ad brokers in the Internet. Submit your blog to them and they will offer you a decent proposal. This method is the laziest way to make money by blogging as it involves a few seconds work only.

If you know of another way to earn bigger money by blogging, please say so in the comment box.

Looking for a CPM ad network that accepts blogs?

CPM ad networks-the most under used blog monetization method is waiting for high traffic as well as moderate traffic blogs to tap into them. Cost per million (CPM) advertisement networks pays publishers a certain amount of money when the placed ad is viewed every thousand times.
Image courtesy: Google images

There are several CPM ad networks that only accept sites that boasts of a minimum of 1 million page views per month. However, there are equal number of CPM players that accepts blogs that report a few thousand visitors every month.

I'd like to introduce to you a new publisher network, www.ValueViewMedia.com. They assure us of no popup ads, no malaware etc making them trustworthy for our site visitors.

Currently, their eCPM rates range from $0.54 and $0.27. These are paid based on views and not based on by clicks. Ah, I see you are happy and excited to try it out on your blog.

Since the drop in AdSense earnings, many bloggers have started banking on CPM way of monetizing their blogs.They have the standard rules, very similar to Adsense; No explicit content, hate speech, etc.

Oh, I am sorry, I should have explained what eCPM is. Value View Media says,
"Networks typically have a combination of premium advertisements and ads for remnant traffic. This means you’re serving a blend of high CPM ads and low CPM ads. This is great for networks, since they monetize as much of your traffic as they can and offer “high fill rates”. The problem is, they end up serving low paying remnant ads to your premium traffic. Most networks allow you to send traffic to a backup network through default ad tags. However, you’re CPMs are still the average of premium ads and low paying ads. When your next network serves monetizes your traffic, they’ll do the same thing."

In short, premium ads + remnant ads = eCPM

Bloggers hired by NBC!

Earning money blogging is now history. There are thousands of bloggers who earn a full time income by blogging. I too join the list.

Self confident bloggers can apply for this post. I think most of the experienced sports bloggers would be eager to be a part of NBC. What a boost it will give to their career!

I think NBC is a bit late in hiring bloggers if this is their first recruitment drive for bloggers. Some very big corporate names have their own web writers. Bloggers hired by such big companies would be loving their job, the pay they get and also enjoy their freedom.

I read in a website that NBCLA.com is looking for a proven sports blogger and diehard Dodger fan to help us launch a dynamic new blog about all things Dodgers. If` you are a reliable self-starter and can crank out 2-3 crisp, insightful posts a day, please send your resume, links to blog posts and a brief cover letter describing why this position is right for you.

The two best ways to earn money online-part 2.

I did not realize 9 days have lapsed since my last post on two best ways to earn money online. I should have published it much sooner.

Ok, here they are, the topics for blog content that won't dry out for another 20 years minimum.
 * Beauty and Fashion
 * Business Blogging
 * Website traffic
 * Mobile phone applications

It is not necessary to compose blog content completely on your own on these topics or on any topic. Whatever you want to write ahs been already written for you. You can find them on several places in the web.

All you have to do is select blog posts or articles that are already available, rewrite them, add your own experience and publish them as fresh and unique. Doesn't it sound pretty easy?

Is it allowed?
Of course. As long as your rewritten piece is at least 40% original and the title is new and unique, you would get organic traffic.

Now comes the issue of launching a professional looking blog. It means, a premium wordpress theme with some premium plugins. These cost money but you can get such a blog from me with at least 20 PLR content that you need to rewrite and publish.

A sample PLR Niche Blog:

These PLR blogs come with 3 money ways that are AdSense, Amazon and Clickbank.I have more than 60 blogs on different niches. They are your instant Internet business solution provided, you already have:
* Adsense id
