12000 advertisers from 88 countries are waiting to approve your blog.

Even though Pay Per Impression ad networks have been in place for as long as I have been in Internet since 1998, I was taken aback when a well known blogger that I happened to meet recently in Bangalore stared at me when I asked him did he consider joining a couple of them because of almost no income off Google AdSense.

I then asked him if he has heard of CPM ad network and he affirmed. I told him CPM (cost per thousand) is also known as cost per impression or pay per impression. CPM ad networks are web advertisements that you place into your blog that deliver targeted ads to your blog’s audience.

Yes, it looks like a PPC (pay per click) type of monetization but certainly it differs. CPM pays you money for every thousand impression of your blog page in which you have placed the given ads.

 No clicks on the ads are necessary for you to earn.

There are several CPM ad networks but the most used by bloggers are:

AdSoid.com  (pays a good $5 per thousand impressions)

Critieo.com (There are 12000 advertiser from 88 countries)

Oh, there are many more but as I said, the above two are favorites of most of the bloggers)

Blogs of multi niche with more than 10k traffic a month or more stand to gain a decent sum every month.

Monetize your blog now with an image ad network.

Would you believe that sometime in 2013, I drafted this blog post? However, I never usually dig out the drafts to give it a finishing touch before publishing. As a typical Gemini, I quickly lose interest that some news or views kindled in me fiercely a day or two before.

I was cleaning the space for Google 15 minutes before by deleting all the drafts in my blogger dashboard when a headline, "Image ad network" stared at me from the draft posts.

I quickly looked into it and saw neatly written brief reviews of three paying image ad networks for bloggers. Out of the three, two had closed shop and the last one in my draft review 'gumgum.com' is found to be alive.

The image below belongs to them and I loved the top quality of the image.

Here is one more image that I saw in their blog located at http://gumgum.com/blog.  A stunning image.

Well, now, how can a blogger can earn money by joining a "image ad network"?
Forgive me, I could only deduce that publishers are paid by cost per impressions (CPM) basis through monetizing  images on their blogs.

You are given a choice of three types of ads namely:
1. Im image ads
2. In screen ads
3. Native ads

Apart from this, there is no clear information or a FAQ page to throw more light. though there is a guide to publishers' monetization guide that bloggers can download and read before applying. (http://insights.gumgum.com/guides-publisher-emerging-forms-advertising)

A few facts published in their 'about' page.
* 400 million visitors
*  2,000 premium publishers
* 81% viewability rate
* Their clients include Disney, L’Oreal and Toyota.
* GumGum is headquartered in Santa Monica, California, with six additional offices in the US and in the UK.
* Founded in 2007

If interested in monetizing your blog with this image ad network, please try it out now.

Money by blogging-the number one factor to consider.

Please read on if you believe that people are earning money blogging without any hardcore selling. It is alright if you have not seen any money from your blog but please know this one important factor while considering problogging if you have not done so already.

The vital factor to see some real money by blogging:
It is advisable to choose a niche for your blog (the overall one topic) instead of starting a multi niche blog if you want to earn a decent sum from your blog.

Why a single niche?
* You will attract relevant ads when you monetize your blog with contextual and CPA ads.
* The banner advertisers will only select single niche blog because they want only target audience to see their banners for possible click through.
* Sponsored posts will be offered only for niche blogs these days.

Above all, there is no point in starting a free blog to earn money. Problogging through free blog is almost dead.

Read this before publishing a blog post.

When I published a blog post on reasons for people to abandon their blogs, I expected one blogger that I know would call me. He called in less than an hour the blog post was live!

He is from from Bombay emailed me and asked for my suggestions for his blog to improve his AdSense earnings. He approached the wrong person and also indicated that he did not read my blog post fully.

I still went ahead to read his blog. It was full of the so called reviews (?) of mobile phones, slimmest phones, android phones, smart phones and what not. You read them everywhere these days, that too from India bloggers. I really do not understand why people write about latest hi-tech gadgets and hope it can make them rich through clicks on advertisements.

Looking for a CPM ad network that accepts blogs?

CPM ad networks-the most under used blog monetization method is waiting for high traffic as well as moderate traffic blogs to tap into them. Cost per million (CPM) advertisement networks pays publishers a certain amount of money when the placed ad is viewed every thousand times.
Image courtesy: Google images

There are several CPM ad networks that only accept sites that boasts of a minimum of 1 million page views per month. However, there are equal number of CPM players that accepts blogs that report a few thousand visitors every month.

I'd like to introduce to you a new publisher network, www.ValueViewMedia.com. They assure us of no popup ads, no malaware etc making them trustworthy for our site visitors.

Currently, their eCPM rates range from $0.54 and $0.27. These are paid based on views and not based on by clicks. Ah, I see you are happy and excited to try it out on your blog.

Since the drop in AdSense earnings, many bloggers have started banking on CPM way of monetizing their blogs.They have the standard rules, very similar to Adsense; No explicit content, hate speech, etc.

Oh, I am sorry, I should have explained what eCPM is. Value View Media says,
"Networks typically have a combination of premium advertisements and ads for remnant traffic. This means you’re serving a blend of high CPM ads and low CPM ads. This is great for networks, since they monetize as much of your traffic as they can and offer “high fill rates”. The problem is, they end up serving low paying remnant ads to your premium traffic. Most networks allow you to send traffic to a backup network through default ad tags. However, you’re CPMs are still the average of premium ads and low paying ads. When your next network serves monetizes your traffic, they’ll do the same thing."

In short, premium ads + remnant ads = eCPM

Bloggers hired by NBC!

Earning money blogging is now history. There are thousands of bloggers who earn a full time income by blogging. I too join the list.

Self confident bloggers can apply for this post. I think most of the experienced sports bloggers would be eager to be a part of NBC. What a boost it will give to their career!

I think NBC is a bit late in hiring bloggers if this is their first recruitment drive for bloggers. Some very big corporate names have their own web writers. Bloggers hired by such big companies would be loving their job, the pay they get and also enjoy their freedom.

I read in a website that NBCLA.com is looking for a proven sports blogger and diehard Dodger fan to help us launch a dynamic new blog about all things Dodgers. If` you are a reliable self-starter and can crank out 2-3 crisp, insightful posts a day, please send your resume, links to blog posts and a brief cover letter describing why this position is right for you.

Post Joint-review.Get paid to blog.

I was recommended highly to join Post Joint, a blogger and advertiser meeting place. To put it in familiar words, Post Joint pays you money to blog.

Earning money with Post Joint seemed to easy as it works differently from other 'get-paid-to-blog' opportunities in the Internet such as Pay per post or Review Me.

I applied two of my blogs that have Google PR3. Both got rejected.

Try your luck mate. http://www.postjoint.com/

The two best ways to earn money online-part 2.

I did not realize 9 days have lapsed since my last post on two best ways to earn money online. I should have published it much sooner.

Ok, here they are, the topics for blog content that won't dry out for another 20 years minimum.
 * Beauty and Fashion
 * Business Blogging
 * Website traffic
 * Mobile phone applications

It is not necessary to compose blog content completely on your own on these topics or on any topic. Whatever you want to write ahs been already written for you. You can find them on several places in the web.

All you have to do is select blog posts or articles that are already available, rewrite them, add your own experience and publish them as fresh and unique. Doesn't it sound pretty easy?

Is it allowed?
Of course. As long as your rewritten piece is at least 40% original and the title is new and unique, you would get organic traffic.

Now comes the issue of launching a professional looking blog. It means, a premium wordpress theme with some premium plugins. These cost money but you can get such a blog from me with at least 20 PLR content that you need to rewrite and publish.

A sample PLR Niche Blog:
http://onemoresales.com/internetbusiness/

These PLR blogs come with 3 money ways that are AdSense, Amazon and Clickbank.I have more than 60 blogs on different niches. They are your instant Internet business solution provided, you already have:
* Adsense id
* Hosting account

Email me if you need any readymade Niche blogs.

Did you earn from Blogdash.com

If I remember correctly, I received a direct mail from Blogdash.com asking me to register my blogs with them. Blog dash acts as a platform for bloggers and product/service owners to increase outreach.

I don't know why such a confusing word is used! It could have been a simple blog marketing or brand awareness enhancing opportunity which would have attracted more bloggers to explore the possibilities of earning money by blogging.

As a problogger, I don't leave any stone unturned; I registered one of my blogs onemoresales.com. Thus far, it has been viewed only once by prospective advertisers.

I wonder what is the success stories of fellow probloggers.

Care to share your experience with blogdash.com?

Blogging money for Indian moms and dads.

The residents of Madras woke up on Sunday the 25th March 2012 to money earning opportunities through blogging and socializing through online social media like Twitter and Facebook.

The news item in Times Of India should have caught the newbies by surprise but not the veterans like me who are already making money by blogging, tweeting and Facebook wall postings.

Long since, I was expecting someone from the Indian news media to expose the online money opportunities and though it is belated, I am glad Priya Menon (link at the end of this blog post) took the initiative.

I have been an Internet journalist approved by Reserve Bank of India. Time and again, I have blogged about the potential to earn money by blogging and microblogging.

It is heartening to note that even Indian corporate houses have realized the great potential to market their products through blogs and social media. The TOI article says, " More companies across India are roping in people like Narayanan who are active on social media to tweet, blog and post comments on networking sites about products and services."

If Indian moms, dads, students and internet buffs are interested in making money online to substantiate their monthly income, they should first learn the unknown methods of becoming popular (influencer) in social media giants like Twitter and Facebook.

There is big money to be made as:
* News Blogger
* Review blogger
* Beauty and Fashion blogger
* Hot Trends blogger

Don't think only Twitter and Facebook offer the best of money making opportunities. Google plus has plunged into the big race and would soon finish first. Making money using Google + is going to be a hot trend if not already.

More money for writing reviews.

Those who are already earning money by blogging through various monetization ways, should be aware of Linkvehicle.com, that hires blog publishers to write reviews of websites, place text links in their blogs and get paid for them.

Linkvehicle has launched another feature by which bloggers can make more money without doing any extra work. They call itTopLinks program!

How Do I Get Started?

If you are already a registered blogger/publisher with Linkvehicle.com, just log in, click on the blogs you've registered. You will find new check box beside a new feature called "Participate in TopLinks". Check the box and hit submit if you want to earn more money from the blog reviews you already published for linkvehicle.com

Ongoing income for reviews:

When an advertiser buys a review from the LinkVehicle marketplace, they can upgrade to a TopLink if the website (your blog) is a participant. Apart from being paid normally for the review, you will continue to receive half that amount you already received every month that the TopLink runs.

Are you worried about more out going links?

Since it is an internal link, it won't count against your outgoing links for SEO purposes.

TopLinks will help you convert the one-time income from writing reviews into an ongoing source of revenue.

What Does This Mean For Text-Link Publishers?

If you can add new pages to your site, you can participate in TopLinks!

When an advertiser requests content, simply create a simple HTML document on a new page. Place an internal link on your homepage to this document and you're all set! You'll receive a one-time payment for creating the content and a recurring payment for half that amount every month the TopLink runs

Making money through CPA is attracting bloggers.

While making money through CPA is attracting bloggers and there is a fair amount of success tasted by them, the process of signing up to a CPA network is still proving to be a daunting task. It can only be learnt with experience though it is rarely shared by successful CPA players.

I don’t understand why advertisers engage the services of CPA network to collect leads; why don’t they directly recruit bloggers and give them all the high profile promotional banners and links?

I could use some or the middle men’s entire share. (Just kidding). I am sure they are doing a good job by making the signing up process tough for internet marketers thus ensuring top call players in the IM field.

Signing up to a network of advertisers through CPA website seems to be easy because you can collect them all under the one roof.

When someone pointed out to me that CPA network also take care of the payment process, I realized the importance of their roles. It makes the advertisers to focus on the creating attractive banners, keyword rich links to attract bloggers and internet marketers.

You might come across instances of prestigious CPA networks that insist on a phone interview with those who are willing to sign up with them. Though it might put off prospects, I believe it is a good measure to hire dedicated and experienced Internet marketers.

Of course, none of this should deter you from applying for a CPA network. The worst that can happen is hearing a firm ‘NO’ but it doesn’t happen every day-right?
