Succumbing to my husband’s persistence, my son reluctantly agreed to study a short term course on networking and multimedia hardware. And now he is glad that he completed the course.
Watching the one day international between India and Australia in our recently acquired plasma TV, we all thanked him too because he was to solve a vexing problem with the set top box.
He replaced a few existing connecting cables with HDMI cables and also arranged a HDMI wall plate connection. The High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) is a compact audio/video connector interface for transmitting uncompressed digital streams.
His innovation improved the delivery of digital signals and the cricket match was just sheer pleasure to watch.
The icing on the cake was the victory of India over Australia in convincing manner.
