Nearly half a day was lost yesterday while rearranging the bedroom. My husband, who generally tolerates chilly mornings, suddenly could not stand the weather. Even the heated blanket that his son bought for him is not sufficient to make him feel warm.
We had to move the giant bed away from the big bay window that we all like for the spectacular view outside. Fortunately, the electric blanket came with a long power cord and it was possible for it to reach out to the cot in its new position.
When we completed the new arrangement, I took a longer look. Something was not all right. Ah, the color of the window blinds did not match the sky blue color of the heated blanket.
Today, I am going to buy new curtains to make things acceptable to my aesthetic taste.
