Have you ever traveled in Ugly Duckling?

I suppose not because it was built so long ago. The year was 1905 to be accurate. The Ugly Duckling was the first airboat built in Nova Scotia, Canada by a team lead by Dr. Alexander Graham Bell.

Airboats are essentially flat-bottomed vessels propelled in a forward direction by an aircraft-type propeller and powered by either an aircraft or automotive engine.

Here is a trivia for you:

The term airboat was also applied to seaplanes or flying boats, amphibian aircraft capable of taking off and landing on water surfaces.

All these facts fascinated my husband and he is seriously looking forward to a ride in an airboat across the Everglades in Florida. Yes, he always will leave out the obvious and look for something unique and special.

He had already corresponded with MoreMouse.com, the best in the hospitality industry in Florida. They offer luxurious vacation home Orlando in and around all the major theme parks and also near offbeat places like Everglades.

MoreMouse.com is trying to convince my husband to buy a vacation home in Everglades on the promise that he will maintain it and ensure 100% occupancy.
