Close on the heels of Pay Per Post's blog ranking announcement, Blog Soc has also introduced their own page ranking facility called Exact Rank.
The ranks range from 0 to 1000. I don't know how people interpret it. Blog Soc says this ranking system can be an alternative to Google page rank.
To check the rank, we must first add our website to Exact Rank and then place a code in our website to check the rank. This website is devoid of any information of its promoter. You will see straightaway a box to type the URL to check its page rank.

It would be nice if there was another system to place value on a web site. It bothers me that one company has so much control over the web.
