How to get unique colors for templates?

Bloggers, webmasters and mere browsers never fail to appreciate a template when they get attracted first by the colors and then probably by the design.

It is the colors that brings one to a website during casual surfing. I have liked hundreds of websites purely for the color on the header or the color of the background.

Here is a fantastic web tool that will give you the exact color codes of any color that you see in the Internet. It is an unbelievable tool that just asks you to key in the image URL of the website that you like for its colors.

It instantly generates the corresponding color codes. Try it out at Color Palette Generator.

This looks like a good resource to use. I've also found a site called kuler by adobe which lets you choose a colour scheme for your site and you can download the pallette to use in photoshop or illustrator.
