Coin’s age does not determine its rarity.

This weekend’s gold monitor newsletter broke my long-standing belief that all old coins are rare and demand high price in the coin collectors market. Rarity is not decided based on the coins’ age.

Will you buy gold coins that are rare or that are old? Now, after reading the new insight, you are undecided-right? When I buy gold eagle coins, they are new and shining; I let them grow old to become rare.

I buy gold coins based on the purity of the gold and I give importance to the coins’ authenticity. I place trust on the source of my gold coins and thereby I don’t have to worry about the purity and the authenticity.
