The impact of Penguin 2.0

So, the dreaded Penguin was let out of Google's bag of algorithm changes. This time, it was named Penguin 2.0

It already dealt painful blows to bloggers and webmasters who banked heavily on their social media marketing expertise. Those who either emptied their wallets or bought cheap IM services to increase their number of twitter followers and Facebook 'likes' were the ones who were rudely awakened. That included me too though I did not spend money to increase the social signals for my blogs.
